Car sharing is the environmentally friendly alternative to owning a car.
Ashland CarShare is a grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the environmental integrity of local and global communities by promoting carsharing and other healthy transportation choices.
As a member, you will have access to a number of cars and will pay only for your actual use. In doing so, you save money, help the environment, and improve the quality of life in our community.
About 40% of all trips are shorter than 2 miles – a 30 minute walk or a ten minute bike ride.
If 1 out of 10 commuters switched to walking or biking, we’d save 2 billion gallons of gas a year. |
